Staff: Anne Marie Brinkman

Anne Marie Brinkman comes to Friends of the Children with a wealth of experience running organizations, a loving and friendly personality, and a huge passion for helping children.

Frequently described as a “force of nature,” Anne Marie most recently served as a project coordinator at an environmental consulting and engineering firm where she supervised administration staff, coordinated HR and meeting functions, managed data reporting requirements, and wrote environmental assessments.  Anne Marie previously served as executive director of the International Choral Festival in Missoula, where she oversaw all aspects of organizing the international event that draws hundreds of choral participants from around the world and thousands of audience members to western Montana.

A resident of Montana since 1986, she enjoys playing the piano, teaching students of all ages, and accompanying for the district and state music festivals. Anne Marie’s favorite activity is taking long walks and hikes with friends and families. She is an avid reader, enjoys listening to podcasts, and is always up for new adventures.
